About Us

Hi, My wife Irene and I sold our commercial Fishing boat a couple of years ago and are now Full Time Cruisers, This enterprise is a way to help our cruising Kitty along .

We spent the last year in Tasmania and had a wonderful Time, great places and people, if youve ever thought about going do it!, We went for three months and ended up spending a year.

We recently crossed the Tasman Sea from Launceston to Nelson, NZ and we intend to spend the winter here and come summer explore Marlborough Sounds and then south to Stewart Island and Fiiordland, we will endeavour to post updates on our adventures here, so if interested check occaisionally.

020/6/2007 Irene and I are sitting in Havelock, "The Greenshell Mussel capital of the world", Its a pretty little place and certainly a lot more prosperous with the mussel farming industry based here.

It has a fairly narrow Channel that is best navigated with a rising tide and we made our way here yesterday to sit out a spot of bad weather and take on some fuel, An old Fishing mate of mine hasw a Water Taxi business out of here and it's been good to catch up.

We spent the last week on the east Coast of Durville Island and inthe outer Pelorous Sound, living on Blue Cod and Mussels, We went through the infamous French Pass 2 hours before the tide changed in our Favour and was a bit of Fun pushing 5 knots and negotiating the Whirlpools, Thank God for 130HP,
